Working at TPCi, I had the amazing opportunity to illustrate the Oddish card for the short animated series of Path to The Peak.

I did thorough amount of research on Oddish and made sure to bring story and emotion to the card art. I wanted to represent Oddish in a respectful and adorable way. Then little did I know, news came out that it would become a promo card!!! What!!

I am still in disbelief, and especially finding out that I am the first American illustrator in twenty years to illustrate a Pokémon card! The Oddish card is exclusive to the public outside of Japan too!

It's incredible news and I am so happy that I have gotten to experience this. I'm forever grateful and in awe of this moment!

I hope to illustrate more if the opportunities emerge!
